Ogre Scenarios

Ogre scenarios free to download

Inspired by the release of the new Ogre Sheets from Tiffin Games I sat down and created six new scenarios for Ogre.

You do not need the new sheets and any version of Ogre/GEV will be suitable - but the scenarios do all use the various GEV/Shockwave maps.

First Gear Street Soccer

GEO-MORPH STREET TILES

This project is the one I'm most excited about.  There are just so many possibilities for a set of street geo-morph tiles.

Each tiles is just short of 5 inches across, so suitable for cars and tokens up to an inch long.

The main game I've got going for these tiles is “First Gear Street Soccer”.   I'm sure you've seen those three fellows on the TV program “Top Gear” play games like football and rugby from inside cars, booting a giant size ball around a pitch off the bonnets of their cars.

Money cards

When paper money isn't good enough…

Seriously, I don't like paper money in games, it's probably my big fat fingers, but I don't like handling the stuff.

So, this was my answer, a pack of money cards, sweet and simple.   Different values, different colours.   Just print as many as you need for your game.

Spaceship geomorph tiles

SPACESHIP GEOMORPH TILES

Does what it says on the tin.    9 “blue carpet” officer rooms, 9 “metal” engineering rooms.

Each tile has different doors, furniture and suggested uses.

Loads of possibilities, need a spaceship for an RPG, just lay it out.   Want to play “Flash Point Fire Rescue” in space – just lay it out.  Need a space skirmish setup, something to play with your now trademarked “Psace Ramines” (TM Wames Gorkshop)

Several different games under development, some of them variations on existing games, some of the new.   Two that I'm especially interested in at the moment is the idea of an asymmetric Aliens vs Marines game, and the other a sort of “Invasion of the Blob” setup.

Monsters in my Pocket

Monsters In My Pocket

I can't claim this is my own at all really, it's actually a re-design of cards for the famous Zombies In My Pocket which you really ought to go and buy rather than P&P this one.

I made it because in our house zombies are humans too, and we didn't feel it was right just bumping off resurrected relatives.

FIRE! A game of Arson

FIRE!

We have big family get togethers and I wanted to build a game that would be quick, easy to learn and a bit of laugh.

In FIRE! the aim is to set fire to as many things as you can, the first one to burn the pile is the winner.

Each card is marked with a number – mostly zero, but some 1's and 2's.   The number indicates how many players are skipped over before someone can lay another card.

Some cards are “special”, they might put the fire out, or make it explode, or some other arsonish thing.

It plays a bit like Uno, but it's less abstract and sillier.    The items on the cards are very varied and some of them are chosen specifically because they have special meaning to members of our family.    Of course you are encouraged to add your own family specific cards.

The full set is a rather randomly selected 90 cards – actually almost any number will do.

Dice Cards

DICE CARDS are my all purpose replacement for those noisy clunky things called dice or die :)

Each card is printed with a whole range of randomness and next time you need a dice roll, just flip the next card in the stack over.

I actually made these because I like to play games on the living room table while my wife watches TV, but for her it's really irritating to listen to those rattling dice all the time.    Plus they always seem to knock your pieces over.

But there's more, by not being constrained to physical objects I can have things like a 5 sided dice :)
