Wild West Barbershop
Price: $12.35
This highly detailed 1:64 scale (28mm-32mm scale) Wild West Barbershop is a laser-cut wooden building kit designed for immersive tabletop wargaming. As part of a larger Wild West town set, this two-story barbershop serves as both an eye-catching piece of scenery and a functional part of your skirmish games. Featuring intricate architectural details, this kit captures the essence of a bustling frontier barbershop, perfect for enhancing your Wild West-themed gaming table.
This barbershop kit offers hobbyists the chance to customize and personalize the building with their own painting techniques. The laser-cut wooden surfaces have excellent textures for painting, allowing for realistic effects such as wood grain, weathering, and aging. Once fully painted, this piece brings the Wild West to life, whether it's a well-kept establishment or a more run-down shop worn by the harsh frontier life.

The kit is designed with functionality in mind, featuring removable roofs that allow easy access to the interior for figure placement and movement during skirmish battles. Inside, the barbershop includes detailed furniture like classic barber chairs, counters, mirrors, and other period-specific decor, providing cover for figures and adding realism to the setting. The open interior is perfect for action-packed scenarios, like brawls or shootouts that spill from the street into the shop.
The barbershop integrates seamlessly with other buildings in the Wild West town set, such as saloons, general stores, and hotels, creating a dynamic and interactive environment for wargaming. Whether it's the scene of a daring skirmish or simply background scenery, this barbershop is an essential addition to any Wild West terrain collection, bringing depth and atmosphere to your tabletop games.
Construction:
Building this laser-cut Wild West structure is an enjoyable and straightforward process, perfect for both beginners and experienced hobbyists. The kit includes detailed, step-by-step instructions that clearly guide you through each stage of construction, showing the necessary components and the finished result.
Minimal glue is required - just a little PVA, wood glue, or stationery glue works well. Using a sharp knife to carefully remove parts from their sprues ensures clean assembly. The easy-to-follow instructions combined with precise laser cuts make for a satisfying build, resulting in a highly detailed and immersive model for your tabletop Wild West town.
Painting:
The kit is made from MDF which takes most paints very well. I have used acrylic hobby paints, finger paints, spray paint even household emulsion. The Wild West is built of wood and the MDF wood finish looks great right from the start.
